Service Description: <div style='text-align:Left;'><div><div><p><span style='font-size:12pt'>This layer is a heavily edited derivative of the AGIS City Parks layer, revised to prioritize visual and cartographic accuracy. Park boundaries have been redrawn where the original parcel-based digitization did not reflect actual ground conditions.</span></p><p><span style='font-size:12pt'>Several facility types have been added that were absent from the source layer: private golf courses, the zoo, botanic gardens, and Tingley Beach. The dataset also incorporates all parks formally proposed as of April 2025; proposed parks that do not yet physically exist have been excluded.</span></p><p><span style='font-size:12pt'>Features occasionally present in the AGIS source layer — including schools and public pools — have been removed and relocated to their appropriate layers.</span></p><p><span style='font-size:12pt'>This layer is designed to render beneath the Facility Details layer, which provides supplementary cartographic detail including golf course fairways, public pools, and additional park features at larger zoom scales.</span></p></div></div></div>
