This layer is a heavily edited derivative of the AGIS City Parks layer, revised to prioritize visual and cartographic accuracy. Park boundaries have been redrawn where the original parcel-based digitization did not reflect actual ground conditions.<\/SPAN><\/P>

Several facility types have been added that were absent from the source layer: private golf courses, the zoo, botanic gardens, and Tingley Beach. The dataset also incorporates all parks formally proposed as of April 2025; proposed parks that do not yet physically exist have been excluded.<\/SPAN><\/P>

Features occasionally present in the AGIS source layer \u2014 including schools and public pools \u2014 have been removed and relocated to their appropriate layers.<\/SPAN><\/P>
